Exelon Generation Company, LLC Receives NRC Exemption for Reduced Insurance Coverage at Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station

The US Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has granted Exelon Generation Company, LLC an exemption to lower the minimum insurance coverage for onsite property damage at the Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station from $1.06 billion to $50 million, in response to a request submitted on March 29, 2018, and supplemented by a follow-up letter on May 8, 2018.
