Exelon Generation Company, LLC Exempt from Nuclear Liability Insurance Requirements

The US Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has granted exemptions to Exelon Generation Company, LLC, allowing the company to reduce its primary offsite liability insurance coverage from $450 million to $100 million and eliminate secondary financial protection requirements for the Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station, effective immediately.
