NHTSA Receives Petition for Importation of Nonconforming 2015 Porsche 918 Passenger Cars

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has received a petition from a company requesting a decision that model year 2015 Porsche 918 passenger cars, which do not meet all applicable Federal motor vehicle safety standards, can be imported into the US due to their substantial similarity to US-certified vehicles and ability to be modified to meet safety standards.
