DoD, GSA, and NASA Propose Amendment to Federal Acquisition Regulation to Define 'Commercial Item'

The Department of Defense (DoD), General Services Administration (GSA), and National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) are proposing to update the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) to align with the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2018, which aims to revise the definition of a 'commercial item' in government procurement.
