OSHA Issues Final Rule on Access to Employee Medical Records

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) is issuing a final rule that transfers the approval of written medical access orders from the Assistant Secretary to the OSHA Medical Records Officer, who will be responsible for making determinations regarding inter-agency transfers and public disclosure of employee medical information.
