FCC Announces Approval of 2008 NET 911 Improvement Act Location Information Requirement

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has received approval from the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) to collect location information from owners and controllers of 911 and E911 capabilities for a period of three years, as mandated by the NET 911 Improvement Act of 2008.
