Federal Communications Commission Amends Rules for Connect America Fund Phase II Auction

The FCC has updated its rules to require service providers to use at least 2 terabytes of monthly data for certain performance tiers, a step closer to the Connect America Fund Phase II auction, which aims to provide up to $1.98 billion in funding for voice and broadband services in underserved areas.
