FDA Announces Fee Rates for Facility Reinspections, Recall Failures, and Importer Reinspections for Fiscal Year 2020

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has announced the fiscal year 2020 fee rates for domestic and foreign facility reinspections, recall failures, and importer reinspections, which are authorized by the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FD&C Act) and the FDA Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA). These fees, effective October 1, 2019, through September 30, 2020, will cover reinspections and recall-related costs.
