Office of Financial Research to Adopt Universal Standard for Identifying Parties to Financial Contracts

The Office of Financial Research, established under the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act, plans to standardize the identification of parties to financial contracts to support the Financial Stability Oversight Council in monitoring systemic risk, and is seeking public comment on its proposed policy.
