US Fish and Wildlife Service Withdraws Taxonomy Amendments for Eight Endangered Species

The US Fish and Wildlife Service has withdrawn amendments to the taxonomy of eight endangered species, including the Newell's Townsend's shearwater, due to significant adverse comments on additional scientific research, while the remaining seven species will take effect on May 17, 2016.
