USDA Adopts Final Rule to Decrease Apricot Assessment Rate in Washington

The USDA is adopting a final rule to decrease the assessment rate for apricot growers in Washington counties, effective for the 2017-2018 fiscal period and beyond, to allow the Washington Apricot Marketing Committee to manage its finances more efficiently. The rule also includes administrative revisions to align with the Office of Federal Register's guidelines.
