U.S. Department of Agriculture Amends PACA Regulations to Enhance Clarity and Enforcement

The USDA is revising the Perishable Agricultural Commodities Act (PACA) regulations to provide clearer guidance for growers and selling agents on preserving trust rights and clarifying the definition of written notification, as well as the agency's jurisdiction to investigate alleged PACA violations.
