USDA Terminates Organic Research and Promotion Program Rulemaking Proceeding

The US Department of Agriculture (USDA) has terminated a rulemaking proceeding that aimed to establish a national research and promotion program for certified organic products, proposed by the Organic Trade Association (OTA), due to uncertain industry support and outstanding substantive issues.
