Bayer CropScience LP Seeks Nonregulated Status for Genetically Engineered Cotton

The Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service has prepared a preliminary determination regarding a request from Bayer CropScience LP to determine the nonregulated status of cotton genetically engineered for resistance to HPPD-inhibitor herbicides and glyphosate, with the public able to review and comment on the preliminary plant pest risk assessment, draft environmental assessment, and preliminary finding of no significant impact.
