Interim Final Rules Under the Paul Wellstone and Pete Domenici Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act of 2008

The U.S. Department of Labor has released interim final rules implementing the Paul Wellstone and Pete Domenici Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act of 2008, a federal law requiring parity between mental health and substance use disorder benefits and medical/surgical benefits in group health plans and health insurance coverage.
