USDA Proposes Changes to Phytophthora ramorum Regulations

The US Department of Agriculture is proposing to relax regulations for nurseries in areas quarantined for the invasive plant Phytophthora ramorum, while maintaining stricter controls for nurseries that ship regulated nursery stock interstate, to provide regulatory relief while minimizing the risk of P. ramorum spread.
