FSIS Announces Plan to Collect Consumer Research on Safe Handling Instructions Labels

The Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) is seeking consumer input on proposed changes to the Safe Handling Instructions (SHI) label for raw and partially cooked meat and poultry products, as well as labeling for ready-to-eat and not-ready-to-eat products, in an effort to improve consumer food safety behaviors.
