IRS Proposes Regulations Clarifying Estate and Trust Deductions

The IRS is holding a public hearing to discuss proposed regulations that clarify how certain deductions for estates and non-grantor trusts are affected by a suspension on miscellaneous itemized deductions, and how to determine the character and allocation of excess deductions after a beneficiary inherits assets from an estate or trust.
