EPA Approves Georgia's Plan to Meet Clean Air Act Requirements for 2010 NO2 NAAQS

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has finalized its approval of Georgia's State Implementation Plan (SIP) submission, which demonstrates the state's compliance with the Clean Air Act's infrastructure requirements for the 2010 1-hour nitrogen dioxide national ambient air quality standard (NAAQS). This approval follows EPA's review of Georgia's SIP, which was submitted on March 25, 2013, and certified by the Georgia Department of Natural Resources, Environmental Protection Division (GA EPD) that it meets the necessary infrastructure elements.
