PBGC Reduces Late Payment Penalty for Pension Plans

The Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) is lowering the rates of penalty charged for late payment of premiums by all plans and waiving most penalties for plans demonstrating a commitment to premium compliance.
