FAA Finalizes Repair Station Rule, Responds to Public Comments

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has confirmed the effective date of its interim final rule, published on July 27, 2016, and adopted it as final, in response to comments received on that rule. The rule change removes the requirement for suitable permanent housing for certain aircraft and updates the general housing and facilities regulation to ensure consistency with ratings and limitations.
