EPA Approves Clean Air Act Permit for Navajo Generating Station Refined Coal Treatment System

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has issued a final permit decision for a Clean Air Act Minor New Source Review (NSR) Permit in Indian Country, allowing the Salt River Project Agricultural Improvement and Power District (SRP) to construct and operate a refined coal treatment system (RCTS) at Navajo Generating Station (NGS) to reduce NOx and mercury emissions.
