Annual Reporting Requirements for Medication Assisted Treatment Practitioners

The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is implementing annual reporting requirements for practitioners authorized to treat up to 275 patients with covered medications in an office-based setting, as outlined in the final rule published on July 8, 2016, to ensure compliance with the Medication Assisted Treatment for Opioid Use Disorders regulations.
