U.S. Department of Energy to Host Public Meeting on Proposed Energy Conservation Standards for General Service Lamps

The U.S. Department of Energy will host a public meeting to gather feedback on a proposed definition for general service lamps, which is set to be published in a forthcoming notice, and to discuss challenges manufacturers may face in meeting the statutory backstop requirement of 45 lumens per watt, effective January 2020.
