Navy Amends Certifications and Exemptions Under International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea, 1972

The US Navy is updating its guidelines to inform mariners of a new exemption for the USS SIOUX CITY, a Navy ship with unique construction, which cannot fully comply with certain collision prevention regulations without interfering with its mission.
