U.S. Department of Commerce Publishes Proposed Rule for Steel Import Monitoring and Analysis System Extension

The U.S. Department of Commerce is seeking public comments on a proposed rule to extend the Steel Import Monitoring and Analysis (SIMA) System until March 2022, allowing for earlier tracking of steel mill imports and public release of import data approximately five weeks in advance.
