ONC Health IT Certification Program Gets Enhanced Oversight and Accountability

The US Department of Health and Human Services has finalized a rule that strengthens the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology's (ONC) oversight of health information technology (health IT) certified under the ONC Health IT Certification Program, including direct review and suspension of certifications for non-compliant products.
