NMFS Prohibits Pacific Cod Fishing by Pot Catcher/Processors in Bering Sea and Aleutian Islands

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) has prohibited directed fishing for Pacific cod by catcher/processors using pot gear in the Bering Sea and Aleutian Islands management area due to the risk of exceeding the 2016 total allowable catch limit for this fishery.
