DoD Finalizes Rule on Management and Mobilization of Retired Military Members

The Department of Defense (DoD) has finalized a rule removing its regulation on managing and mobilizing regular and reserve retired military members. This change does not grant the DoD authority to recall retired members, but rather outlines how the DoD can deploy them once recalled into active service.
