US Department of Transportation Withdraws Safety Advisory Notice on Damaged Lithium Cells and Recalled Portable Electronic Devices

The US Department of Transportation has withdrawn its Safety Advisory Notice 2016-18, which was set to expire on October 15, 2016, and will be replaced by an Emergency Restriction/Prohibition Order, Order No. FAA-2016-9288, issued by the Department of Transportation.
