EPA Reopens Comment Period for Proposed Updates to Hazard Communication Program and Regulatory Framework

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is reopening a 30-day comment period for proposed updates to its hazard communication program and regulatory framework for significant new uses of chemical substances, as well as minor amendments to reporting requirements for premanufacture notices under the Toxic Substances Control Act. The EPA is responding to a commenter's request for additional time to submit written comments.
