FHWA Issues Final Rule for Asset Management Plans and Periodic Evaluations of High-Risk Infrastructure

The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) has issued a final rule to implement new requirements for states to develop and implement asset management plans for the National Highway System, as well as conduct periodic evaluations of high-risk infrastructure that frequently requires repair and reconstruction due to emergency events.
