EPA and NHTSA Establish Phase 2 Rules for Reducing Greenhouse Gas Emissions from Medium- and Heavy-Duty Vehicles and Engines

The Department of Transportation is setting new rules to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and fuel consumption from new medium- and heavy-duty vehicles and engines, with separate standards for different types of vehicles and engines, and addressing discrepancies between EPA and NHTSA regulations.
