Schempp-Hirth Flugzeugbau GmbH Issues Airworthiness Directive for Gliders Due to Insufficient Airbrake Panel Overlap

Schempp-Hirth Flugzeugbau GmbH has adopted a new airworthiness directive for its Models Discus-2a, Discus-2b, Discus-2c, Discus 2cT, Ventus-2a, and Ventus-2b gliders, following mandatory continuing airworthiness information from another country that identified an unsafe condition related to insufficient overlap of airbrake panels.
