Magnuson-Stevens Act Provisions; Fisheries Off West Coast States; Pacific Coast Groundfish Fishery; 2017-2018 Biennial Specifications and Management Measures; Amendment 27

The proposed rule aims to establish 2017-2018 harvest specifications and management measures for groundfish off the coasts of Washington, Oregon, and California, in line with the Magnuson-Stevens Fishery Conservation and Management Act and the Pacific Coast Groundfish Fishery Management Plan. The rule also revises management measures and implements Amendment 27 to the PCGFMP, which includes changes to deacon rockfish, big skate, and inseason management processes.
