Designation of Agent To Receive Notification of Claimed Infringement: Outdated Information Found

The U.S. Copyright Office has discovered that many online service providers have failed to update their agent designations, leading to inaccurate and outdated information in the current directory, which is required under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). The Office is planning to update its regulations to create an electronic system for submitting and searching designated agent information.
