Turbomeca S.A. Proposes New Airworthiness Directive for Arriel 2B Turboshaft Engines

Turbomeca S.A. is proposing a new airworthiness directive to address a reported incident involving an uncommanded in-flight shutdown of a single-engine helicopter, which was caused by a faulty hydro-mechanical metering unit, and to prevent potential engine failure and loss of the helicopter.
