FERC Withdraws Notice on Market-Based Rate Requirements

The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) has withdrawn a proposed rulemaking notice that aimed to update its regulations to allow utilities to acquire a larger stake in public companies, and also ended a proceeding related to the Electric Power Supply Association's request for guidance on market-based rates.
