EPA Exempts 2-Pyrrolidinone, 1-Butyl- from Tolerance Requirement

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has granted an exemption to Taminco U.S., Inc., a subsidiary of Eastman Chemical Company, from the requirement of a tolerance for residues of 2-pyrrolidinone, 1-butyl- (CAS Reg. No. 3470-98-2) in pesticide formulations applied to growing crops, provided the concentration does not exceed 30% by weight.
