Medicare Program Updates Hospital Outpatient Payment Systems and Quality Reporting Programs

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has released a final rule with a comment period to revise Medicare hospital outpatient prospective payment systems and ambulatory surgical center payment systems for 2017, implementing statutory requirements and updates to quality reporting programs, including the Hospital Outpatient Quality Reporting (OQR) Program and the ASC Quality Reporting (ASCQR) Program.
