US Department of Housing and Urban Development to Implement New Fair Market Rent System

The US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) is introducing a new system for the Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) program, replacing the current 50th percentile fair market rents with Small Area Fair Market Rents to address high levels of voucher concentration in certain communities.
