EPA Establishes Significant New Use Rules for 57 Chemical Substances
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is implementing significant new use rules (SNURs) for 57 chemical substances, which were previously subject to premanufacture notices (PMNs), under the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA). The new rules require manufacturers and processors to notify the EPA at least 90 days prior to commencing a significant new use of these substances.
