EPA Amends FOIA Request and Appeal File System of Records

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is amending its FOIA Request and Appeal File system of records to include all information related to FOIA requests, appeals, and responses. This change aims to facilitate mediation and dispute resolution between requesters and administrative agencies by enabling the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA), Office of Government Information Services (OGIS), and EPA to share case-level information securely.
