Air Plan Approval; MA; Decommissioning of Stage II Vapor Recovery Systems

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is approving a State Implementation Plan revision submitted by the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (MassDEP), allowing gasoline dispensing facilities to decommission Stage II vapor recovery systems as of January 2, 2015, and strengthening Stage I vapor recovery requirements. This approval aims to align Massachusetts' regulations with the Clean Air Act.
