FERC Proposes Rule Change to Allow Electric Storage Resources to Participate in Wholesale Markets

The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission is proposing a rule change to enable electric storage resources and distributed energy resource aggregations to compete in regional transmission organizations' and independent system operators' wholesale markets, aiming to increase market participation and promote competition.
