US Bureau of Industry and Security Requests Comments on Impact of Chemical Weapons Convention on Commercial Chemical Activities

The US Bureau of Industry and Security is seeking public comments on the impact of the Chemical Weapons Convention on commercial activities involving 'Schedule 1' chemicals, as required by the Chemical Weapons Convention Implementation Act and the Chemical Weapons Convention Regulations, to inform its annual certification to Congress on the effects of the convention on legitimate commercial interests in the chemical, biotechnology, and pharmaceutical sectors.
