HUD to Change Method for Determining HOME Program Compliance, Implement Grant-Specific Method Starting FY 2015

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) is updating its method for ensuring participating jurisdictions meet the statutory 24-month commitment requirement for the HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME) Program, starting with Fiscal Year 2015 grants. The new approach aims to prevent jurisdictions from losing allocated funds when they spend program income.
