HHS Proposes Exemption for NIH Research Records from Privacy Act Requirements

The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is proposing to exempt certain records used in managing NIH research and development applications and awards from requirements of the Privacy Act, citing the need to protect the identities of referees and peer reviewers who provide confidential feedback.
