U.S. Secretary Issues Final Regulations for Innovative Assessment Demonstration Authority Under ESSA

The U.S. Secretary has finalized regulations allowing states to pilot innovative assessments for accountability and reporting purposes under the Elementary and Secondary Education Act, building on changes made by the Every Student Succeeds Act enacted in 2015.
