FTA Waives Buy America Requirements for Sound Transit's Northgate Link Extension

The Federal Transit Administration has granted a Buy America non-availability waiver to the Central Puget Sound Transit Authority for its Northgate Link light rail extension, allowing the procurement of ultrastraight rail from a foreign supplier to meet vibration threshold requirements.
